Edopter

Co-Founder

May 2007 – Nov 2009

Edopter harnessed user insights and global buzz to discover emerging trends, a technology it named Social Trendcasting. Users engaged by creating, following, and sharing trends, observing as they went viral worldwide.

Pop culture trend tracking

Edopter combined crowdsourcing and internet buzz to predict and track emerging trends. It enabled users to create, follow, and share trends, providing real-time insights into global popularity shifts.

Track trends and earn internet points if you call them early

Users spotlighted and joined “hot” trends across categories like people, places, fashion, and media, sharing images, videos, and links. Our advanced algorithm tracked demographics, behaviors, and influences to refine predictions.

The Showcase

The Showcase enabled brands to target Edopter’s key users, known for their history of fostering product and idea growth within their key demographics. In many ways this is a very early example of the influencer strategy most brands employ today.

The Suit Vers 3.0

From Esquire Magazine: “Computers may have changed some in the last fifty years, but a killer suit is still the best way to command respect in the workplace. Here, the next generation of Web Heavies mix sharp tailoring with unexpected twists, and even try to sell us on their startups.”
